I didn’t start MomentumAI because I wanted to build software. I started it because I was tired of fighting it.

My background is construction - I started in a labor role, carpenter, super, and now owner. I’ve lived the frustration of juggling spreadsheets that didn’t talk to each other, platforms that looked great in demos but fell apart in the field, and “solutions” built by people who had clearly never worked in construction a day in their life.

For years, I watched technology be done to construction instead of built with it.

Most construction tech is designed from the outside looking in. It’s created by smart people, but people who don’t understand how work moves on a jobsite, how decisions compound under pressure, or how costly even small miscommunications can be. The result is software that adds friction instead of removing it, complexity instead of
clarity.

Momentum exists because we decided that wasn’t good enough.

We built this from the field up. Every feature, workflow, and insight inside Momentum comes from lived experience, what slows teams down, what creates risk, and what actually helps people make better decisions earlier. I created this for my own personal team and our network of subs. I wanted it to help us be as efficient as possible and the average tech stack every company uses weren’t good enough.

At its core, Momentum is about foresight.

Construction has always been gritty, hands-on work and it always will be. But the best builders I know aren’t just reacting anymore. They’re modeling outcomes before problems show up. They’re aligning teams, timelines, and dollars long before anything goes vertical. Momentum gives teams the ability to do exactly that, without forcing them to change who they are or how they work.
